Cooking a Turkey, Apple Pie, Disney's (Spectacular) Frozen, and Nigella Lawson

In other news, cooking a turkey just got easier thanks to Nigella Lawson and her handy recipe (no, I'm not going to talk about her scandal with her assistants), apple pie can be cooked in a mason jar -- which somehow makes it even more American -- and Disney's Frozen, based loosely on Hans Christian Andersen's THE SNOW QUEEN, is quite possibly the best (or in the top 5 at the very least) Disney movies of all time. Why? Read my review of it here at www.rockingodshouse.com. If those three Google Trend factoids weren't enough to blow your mind, you should also know that Steam is offering a huge Autumn sale on its video games and Jennifer Love Hewitt announced her master plan to rule the world, which began with her secretly marrying Brian Hallisay while simultaneously giving birth (ok, maybe not simultaneously) in a secret location known only to government officials and TMZ. No, but seriously, she did give birth to her new son Autumn (I'm noticing a theme here) within the same weekend of secretly getting married. If that's not some kind of government conspiracy, I don't know what is.

This is what happens when you write a blog post using only Google Trend keywords -- sort of like a challenge on Iron Chef where you're only allowed to cook with one ingredient.

In regards to the turkey recipe and apple pie in a mason jar, I'm not what you would describe has "someone who cooks" in the conventional meaning of that concept, though I do think that mason jar idea is actually kind of cool.

Of all the random things above, the one topic I do care about is the film Frozen.

It. Was. SPECTACULAR.

I urge, plead, beg, and petition you all to see it. It is worth it.
