ASLAN'S PAW PODCAST

My life's mission statement: "To pursue a radical hunger for God and to inspire others to be radically hungry for God in a way that transforms their lives for the better. If there was one modern book that I could call my manifesto for life, it would be A.W. Tozer's 'The Pursuit of God.'"

Besides writing non-fiction and fiction books, I have a podcast called Aslan's Paw. Here are my interviews with actor David Oyelowo, singer Dolly Parton, Mark Henn, Disney animator of "Moana," and Todd Karmicki, the screenwriter of the Tom Hanks film "Sully":

My Background

In the days when Mark Zuckerberg was still in his Harvard dorm room coding "the Facebook," I was busy on the other side of the country earning a B.A. in Music Composition at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I was also studying literature and film scoring on the side. I'm fascinated by astronomy, Jack Black movies, Oxford, England (where I wish I grew up), California (where I actually grew up), the Beach Boys, California's Central Coast, the Monterey aquarium, and mountains--to name a few things--and I was trained in wing chun kung fu by sifu Rafal Brzozowski in Santa Barbara, CA. (Yes, I have "bo staff skills," as Napoleon Dynamite would say.)

Besides books and podcasts, I contribute content to RockinGodsHouse.com.

I've also been an inbound marketer and ghostwriter for many digital marketing agencies and companies, including Zondervan Books, FrontGate Media, and others.

Here is one of my favorite places in the world (and, yes, that is a labyrinth):
